Music at FPC
First Presbyterian Church maintains a distinguished history and tradition of musical excellence in worship.
The music ministry offers a variety of opportunities available for members of all ages to serve God and First Presbyterian in worship. The music program is rooted in a classical tradition that includes music from the early Renaissance era that speaks of our Christian heritage to music of the 21st century.
A vital part of the church’s life, the music tradition at First Presbyterian has aided the church in growth and effectiveness in the Rocky Mount community. We continually strive to expand and nurture our music program, based on sound theology that opens our hearts and minds to the glory and grace of God.
